A deposit of 30% for the holiday stay will be required to reserve the gîte. If the reservation is within 6 weeks of the start of your stay, the whole amount will be required.

Following the receipt of your deposit, you will be sent confirmation of booking by email. The contract of hire, and liability for the full rental becomes effective on despatch of the booking confirmation.

The balance of the rental is to be paid at least 6 weeks before the start of your holiday. Otherwise the booking may be treated as cancelled.

In the event of cancellation within the 6 week period prior to your rental start date your deposit will not be refunded unless the gîte can be re-let for the same amount of time.

The gîte will be available from 4pm on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure.

You are asked to leave the gîte clean & tidy, as we intend you find it. This includes all the equipment and utensils that have been provided to make your stay pleasurable. While you will not necessarily be charged for minor items, you should be aware that you will be liable for the costs of any breakages or damage.

We regret we are unable to accept liability to any member of your holiday party for any personal injury or sickness, loss or damage to the property, including vehicles & bikes however sustained or caused, nor for the loss or theft of property and / or money.

The holidaymakers' rights to occupy the gîte may be forfeited without compensation if more than 4 people attempt to take up occupancy without our permission, or any activity is undertaken which may cause unreasonable damage, noise or disturbance.

If for any reason beyond our control the gîte is rendered unsuitable for letting on the date booked all monies paid by you will be returned in full, but there shall be no further claim against us.

We cannot be held liable for any breakdown of any facility which is beyond reasonable control (e.g. breakdown or failure of any electrical equipment, facility or plumbing) In the event of a breakdown we will endeavour to repair / replace within 48 hours where possible.

The gîte owner or representative shall be allowed access to the gîte accommodation at any reasonable time during any holiday occupancy.

Children must be supervised when present in or around the over ground plunge pool.

We operate a No smoking policy in and around the house and gîte.



The gîte is attached to the main house next to the barn.


Our website gives information and pictures of the rooms and surroundings. Bookings / enquiries can be made via email, telephone, or letter. We have provided a map on the contact page of our website with directions for your convenience.

There is a space for 1 car by the side of the garage.


Enter through front stable door into open-plan kitchen / living area. Tiled floors throughout the ground floor. To the right is the kitchen units, there is a fridge with small freezer compartment. The kitchen also comprises electric oven with 4 ring hob on top and dishwasher. There is a pod coffee machine for your use. Crockery is provided along with coffee cups, mugs, glasses, cutlery and some cooking utensils. The table seats 4 but can extend (extra leaf behind sofa). 

Further into the room there is a narrow door to the right which opens into the shower room. There is a washing machine for use should your cycle kit be in need of cleaning. 


There is a sofa and 2 separate chairs in the living area, and a tv for play back dvd's only. The window to the rear opens inwards, and one window pane opens across part of the staircase. For safety reasons we strongly advise you to shut the right side window leaving the left hand one open should you require any more fresh air. The staircase is narrow! and curls up to the right leading up into one of the 2 bedrooms. The second bedroom is to the front of the house.

Outside the front there is a small seating area near the barn for your use, however you are welcome to join us on the large terrace at the side of the main house, and also use it when we are not at home.

Well behaved dogs are welcome in the gîte, though the garden is not securely enclosed.
